French drinking water installation comes online
Our French demonstration site tests how energy can be recovered using micro-hydro technology in the context of potable water. The unit, located at a drinking water production plant in St Pair sur Mer in Normandy, is managed by our partners SMPGA.
The pump-as-turbine (PAT) generates almost 7 kW/h of hydropower that re-supplies the plant to reduce its energy consumption. Part of the installation also powers a USB phone charging facility near a local school to highlight the potential benefits of micro-hydro technology.
REDAWN wins innovation award at Carrefour L'Eau
We are delighted to announce that our partners SMPGA received the “Prix de l’innovation de la gestion de l’eau dans les collectivités†at this year's Carrefour L'Eau event in Rennes.
