Register now for WATEF study trip:  Hamburg September 18-20

Please register your interest today for this year's study trip to Hamburg from 18-20 September.

We will be learning about the innovations in water conservation and management being pioneered here in some of the newest districts in Hamburg, as well as exploring the historic Wasserkunste, finishing with a tour of the city by boat.  The event is organised by our Water Reuse & Surface Water Management technical committee.

Highlights:

  • Trip to Hamburg Wasser to learn about how the Hamburg Water Cycle is being implemented in a new urban development

  • Tour of HafenCity, a whole new city centre quarter for Hamburg with innovations in ecology, sustainability and water management.

  • Dinner in the historic centre of Hamburg.

For the event to go ahead, we will need a minimum number of attendees, so please indicate if you would like to join us by using this link by the end of today so we can put the final arrangements in place.

We will be offering one free place to a PhD student - please email us at info@watefnetwork.co.uk if you would like to find out more.

For more information and costs please see our website page here.

We hope you can join us in September.
