Watef Conference 2015: The WATEF network is very pleased to announce that its' third annual conference will be held at the Xfi Building, on the Streatham campus of the
University of Exeter from
5th to 7th August 2015.
The gala dinner and drinks receptions will be held at Reed Hall which is a stunning grade II listed building hidden amongst 300 acres of enchanting landscaped gardens. Details of the conference can now be found at:

Watef Field Trip to Coventry - 6th February 2015The network would like to thank Professor Sue Charlesworth and the Estates team at the University of Coventry for arranging what promises to be an interesting visit to the new Engineering and Computing Building. This BREEAM accredited building, designed by Arup, celebrates the experience of learning as well as new technologies. Members of the new Surface Water Management technical committee will also be meeting during this event. The event is free to all network members but please register
here.Watef Field Trip to Berlin - 23rd to 25th March 2014This exciting field trip has been organised in conjunction with the Technical University of Berlin and Erwin Nolde, Nolde & Partners. The full programme can be viewed on our
website and promises to provide ample opportunity for members to network and to learn more about sustainable urban solutions for water efficiency. Places are limited so please
register as soon as possible.
The deadline for the student scholarship has been extended to 26th January 2015.
Watef Field Trip to Old Ford Water Recycling Plant - 22nd January 2015The members of the Water Reuse Technical Committee have been invited to visit the plant by Thames Water on 22nd January - please look out for the visit report and photos.
Glasgow Workshop on
"The regional approach to water efficiency": This workshop will be held on 28 April 2015 hosted by Dr Charles Russell from Glasgow Caledonian University and will include dynamic speakers from Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales. Further details available soon on our

Resource Database:
We will shortly be launching a new resource database as a one stop shop for Water Efficiency. All members will be able to contribute to this database and we will circulate further details and instructions shortly.
Technical CommitteesThe inaugural meeting dates for our three newly formed Technical Committees: People and Communities, Service Innovation and, Surface Water Management have now been finalised. Membership and Scope of Work of the technical committees can be found
